It’s not only because you’re keen about cleaning products & tools, but your space has some cleaning needs that must be fulfilled. You may get along with the commercial cleaners. But if you want to save money and keep your place out of any harsh odors, it’s good to have DIY cleaners. The cleaning experts have shared some amazing DIY recipes that’ll surely help you clean around your house. So let’s dive in;

DIY Tub & Tile Cleaner

Mix equal parts dish soap & baking soda and 10-20 drops of your favorite essential oil. This is because you deserve to feel a little bit amazing when you’re cleaning a tub to make it smell great. This is a onetime use product so make sure you whip it up on demand.

Take a wet sponge, dip it into your solution and apply it onto your grimy surface. Let it sit for a while, flip your sponge around to the scrubby side and then use the S. pattern to go nuts and get rid of that soap scum. Then you can rinse a surface and dry with other squeegee & a microfiber cloth.

Hardwood Floor Cleaner

Inevitably, the majority of the floors in your house are currently unusable if you’ve just moved in. But for sure, they’re filthy. So what you can do here is. Just whip up some DIY hard floor cleaner, which not only will come in handy for one room but also for all the entire house.

So here’s the recipe for you; A half teaspoon of dish soap, a half Cup of white vinegar and two cups of water. Mix them all in a clean spray bottle and spray it on the hardwood floor. Make sure you use a flash mob going in the direction of the grain.

All Purpose Cleaner

Inevitably, there’s a huge mess in your kitchen. From your kitchen cupboards to the appliance, everything needs to be cleaned. In that case, the DIY All-Purpose cleaner can be of great help.

Here’s a recipe for the all-purpose cleaner; Mix two cups of water, a half teaspoon of dish soap and 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Shake it up, use that on just about any surface in your home giving the area a good wipe with a microfiber cloth. And Viola! You’re done.

Drain Cleaner

For drain cleaning, you can mix half cup salt in 1-gallon water, heat and pour down the drain. If you’re looking for the stronger cleaning, pour about half a cup of baking soda down the drain, then half cup of vinegar. This chemical reaction will break fatty acids down into soap & glycerin, thereby allowing the clog to wash down the drain.

Wait for 15 minutes and after that, just pour in boiling water to clear residue.  A professional housemaid in Dubai also mentioned that this method can only be used in the metal plumbing system. If the pipes are of plastic, excess boiling water can melt it.
